In a very bold project, COCO-MAT decided to offer assistance to "Hearts in the Ice" by providing its mattresses and warmest duvets.
Two women, Hilde Fålun Strøm (Norway) and Sunniva Sorby (Canada), wanted to draw global attention to climate change. They organized the heroic project "Hearts in the Ice" and decided to live in the remote cabin "Bamsebu" in the Arctic, in Svalbard, Norway, 140 kilometers away from the nearest house!
The conditions will be quite harsh, as Bamsebu has no water or electricity, and their stay will last for 9 full months.
COCO-MAT offered its mattresses and warmest duvets in order to support this great effort.
