Iraklis offers increased support to children and persons with lighter bodies. It is completely metal-free, contains seaweed which soothes breathing during sleep and horsehair, a natural humidity regulator. The mattress has two sides, one is firm and the other elastic. This is particularly convenient when children grow older and require a more elastic surface. The zipper opening allows for easy maintenance and a longer lifespan. The double covers with zippers can be easily removed and washed for optimal hygiene. The quilted mattress cover is made of high-quality cotton and pure wool.
Washing instructions for covers:
- Machine Wash, Gentle or Delicate (40°C / 105° F).
- Do Not Spin or Wring.
- Do Not Bleach.
- Tumble Dry on Low Heat.
- Dry clean.
Dry in a shady, well-ventilated area, preferably on a flat surface. It is also advisable, before completely drying, to stretch in order to reduce their chances of shrinking.
Why should I choose a mattress of natural materials and not of metal springs?
Mattresses without springs are comparatively superior to those with springs. Natural materials offer even, isometric body support and do not contain noise sources. On the contrary, springs give different support to their points of connection than in the middle of each separately. Also, despite the fact that they are dressed with cotton, it is more possible to produce noise because they are made of steel.
