The OEKO-TEX® Standard 100

A worldwide consistent, independent testing and certification system ensuring that every component of our sleep products, i.E yarns, woven and knitted fabrics, buttons, zippers and other accessories, have been tested for harmful substances and our products therefore are harmless for human health.

On the basis of its comprehensive and strict catalogue of measures, with several hundred regulated individual substances, the STANDARD 100 by OEKO-TEX® takes account of several criteria that are updated at least once a year and expanded with new scientific knowledge or statutory requirements.

Wool Mark

The Wool Mark logo is a representation of quality and insures that all wool products displaying the logo are 100% pure new wool.

All COCO-MAT’s Wool products and all Saffron Cover Mattresses are quality compliant to Wool Mark’s 100% pure new wool certificate and Contain wool certified by Wool mark.

R.D.S Responsible Down Standard

The Responsible Down Standard ensures that down and feathers come from ducks and geese that have been treated well. This means enabling them to live healthy lives, express innate behaviors, and not suffer from pain, fear or distress (source: http://responsibledown.org/)

Coco-Mat’s supplier of goose and duck feathers is R.D.S certified.

Forest Stewardship Council

FSC protects forests for future generations and promotes environmentally sound, socially beneficial and economically prosperous management of the world’s forests.

COCO-MAT’s wooden frames and furniture are sourced from responsibly managed forests that meet FSC’s 10 principles and 57 Criteria of standards, that apply to certified forests around the world.

Sustainable Furnishing Council

SFC is leading the industry and developing awareness of eco-friendly best practices throughout their supply chains. The Council also promotes sustainable practices among furniture manufacturers, retailers, and consumers.
