Based on the idea that our body (or soma in Greek) naturally knows what is right (ortho in Greek) for it, we have developed highly elastic mattresses that can perfectly adapt to any shape and form.
Multiple layers of natural materials are stacked inside each product. No metal springs are used. Firmer layers with elasticized coco fiber, provide bodyweight support, while the more elastic layers with natural latex follow the body’s shape, while gently hugging every curve.
Instead of making your body adapt to the ways of a metal-spring mattress, we made a mattress that " listens" to your body and surrenders to its needs for proper support.

Step-by-step, we devote countless hours to make each ergo–base by hand and place it inside the bed–mattresses.
The ergo–base is an ingenious device – a nifty innovation designed to elevate your comfort to a new level.Τhe ergo–base is the single most important element of our signature sleep systems. The ergo–base makes the bed-mattress virtually bottomless by responding to every body movement and gently absorbing weight. It offers maximum elasticity, allows for perfect air circulation, and provides even support and weight distribution. Step-by-step, we devote countless hours to make each ergo–base by hand and placing it inside the bed–mattresses. It consists of bendy eucalyptus wood slats, which rest on three or four rolls of natural latex.
Each slat is carefully secured inside a fabric pocket, sewn on the outer cover of the rolls.

COCO-MAT creates handcrafted sleeping products without metal elements like springs, aiming to provide a more natural sleeping experience. The belief is that mattresses without springs are superior compared to those with. Natural materials can provide a more homogeneous and isometric support to the body, they do not create any source of noise and they have a longer lifespan. Thanks to their properties of elasticity and recovery, natural materials can withstand time, unlike springs that lose their elasticity over time.
