COCO-MAT bed-mattresses
• Breakage of wooden frame due to the nature of the wood.
• Sagging of the materials of the bed-mattress by more than 0.8 in / 2 cm.
• Depolymerization of the natural rubber despite proper ventilation and sufficient protection from direct sunlight.
COCO-MAT mattresses
• Localized sagging of the materials in the mattress by more than 0.8 in / 2 cm despite the mattress being placed on a flat base consisting of slats with 2-3 in / 5-7 cm distance between them
• Depolymerization of the natural rubber while mattress is placed on a flat base (see point above) ensuring correct ventilation of the mattress. Warranty is conditional to the product not being exposed to direct sunlight without the use of its protective cover.
COCO-MAT top-mattresses
• Localized sagging of the materials in the mattress by more than 0.8 in / 2 cm while the top-mattress is used in conjunction with a mattress that retains its original properties.
• Depolymerization of natural rubber due to causes other than: a) insufficient air circulation, b) direct exposure to sunlight without the use of protective covers.
The COCO-MAT warranty does NOT extend to any of the following problems (non-exhaustive list):
• Sleep products used in hotels, motels or institutional facilities.
• Sleep products sold “as is” or at a reduced prices as showroom samples, from second-hand parties, non-retail establishments or received as promotional items.
• Sleep products (mattresses and top-mattresses) exhibiting signs of depolymerization of the natural rubber in their corners only.
• Replacement of another piece of the purchased sleep system, unless it is also defective.
• Sagging in the sleep product by less than 0.8 in / 2 cm.
• Damage to the mattress due to inappropriate support or use of incorrect bed frame.***
• Damage to the sleep product due to improper use.
a. Fabric stains (body fluids, soiling).
b. Penetration of liquids. The use of cleaning fluids may damage the fabric and materials in your product. Allowing liquids, such as water, to penetrate the sleep product can damage the layers of upholstery, causing materials to compress.
• Damage to the zipper.
• Normal change in softness and recovery of the materials of mattresses and top-mattresses over time. This does not affect their ability to support the body.
*** COCO-MAT mattresses, if not used on top of a fitting bed-mattress, must rest on a system of slats, consisting of flat and straight slats (wooden or metal) spaced at approximately 2-3 inches/ 5-7 cm distance from each other. No thick fabric or protective plastic sheet is to be used between mattress and slats. For mattresses measuring more than 47 in / 120 cm in width, it is recommended that the slats are supported by a beam in their middle.
This warranty is subject to Greek legislation.
