Nina and the pillows – Book reading event for children

Nina is nine years old and she likes to sleep in other people’s pillows. She likes to play all day, draw pictures, jump around and have fun. She likes to dream.

What we used to know about fairy tales and children’s stories is that they all start and end the same way; once upon a time, in a far-away world, a long time ago, some people in some place lived an exciting story and they all lived happily ever after. Little Nina though doesn’t live in a far-away world. She doesn’t live in the past. She is a modern little girl, living in our world, the world we grown-ups have built, and shaped, and run. And she shares the same dreams our children have.
